Outbound Sales Representative (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are a growing wash-and-fold pickup and delivery laundry service seeking a motivated and results-driven Outbound Sales Representative. This role involves cold calling businesses from our leads pipeline to introduce our company, identify potential customers, set appointments, and close deals. The ideal candidate is skilled in cold calling, appointment setting, and has excellent interpersonal communication skills.

This is a part-time contractor position with flexible hours, the ability to work from home, and a compensation structure of $18-$20/hour base pay plus 15% commission on closed deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calls to businesses on our leads pipeline list to introduce our services.
  • Gauge interest and identify key decision-makers within target organizations.
  • Leave messages or follow-up notes for key decision-makers when necessary.
  • Set appointments for follow-up discussions or close deals during initial contact.
  • Maintain detailed notes on calls, leads, and potential opportunities.
  • Perform light administrative tasks, such as saving potential leads to a designated list for the data entry team.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly call and performance goals.

Requirements

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or cold calling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Reliable home office setup, including a quiet workspace, clear audio quality, and a stable Wi-Fi or phone connection.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor.

Compensation and Schedule

  • $18-$20/hour base pay plus 15% commission on closed deals.
  • 5 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on performance.
  • Flexible schedule, but calls must be made during standard business hours (9am-5pm Pacific Time).
  • Estimated state date: ASAP
